Pastor’s 64th Birthday
Sunday, August 7th, we will celebrate our pastor’s birthday. A replica of the church will be available to accept cards & well-wishes. A gospel concert will begin that evening at 6:00 p.m. After the p.m. service, a fellowship will be held in the FLC with homemade ice cream and desserts.
Echoes of Calvary Gospel Music Concert Series
The Calvary Baptist Church, 700 Woodard, invites the public to attend a great evening of southern gospel music, Friday, July 22. This will be the musical debut of the Echoes of Calvary Gospel Music Concert Series which will be held quarterly in the main church sanctuary.
The event will be hosted by Heaven’s Harbor, 2008 Southern Gospel Music Association of Texas group of the year. Joining the quartet will be Spoken4, the Splawn family, Calvary Quartet, and Ambassador Trio. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Concert begins at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free so early arrival is advised. A love offering will be received.
Echoes of Calvary Concert Series
Calvary Baptist Church & Heaven’s Harbor present “Echoes of Calvary,” a gospel concert series featuring “Spoken For” and “The Splawn Family,” Friday evening, July 22nd at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free. A love offering will be received. Do not miss this great evening of worship and praise.
Monthly Outreach
Our “Striving Together ” outreach will be Tuesday, July 19th (due to summer Bible Time) at 7:00 p.m. with our meal at 6:00 p.m. The meal will include fried chicken, vegetables, desserts, coffee, and tea. Come be a part of numerous outreach opportunities! Let’s keep up the good work as we take advantage of this great ministry tool of service to the Lord. Be faithful!
