Our Calvary Teens will attend the TCU vs. San Diego St. basketball game on Saturday, March 3rd at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in Ft. Worth. Cost is $5 per person and we will eat supper at Fuddruckers ($10) We will leave the church at 3 p.m.

FEBRUARY IS CAMP REGISTRATION MONTH

Youth Camp is right around the corner. February is early Camp registration. On Sunday, February 26 is Camp registration Day. Just pick up a camp registration form from the office, and turn it in with a $25 non-refundable deposit and you are set for camp. Camp will be July 9-14, 2012 at Southland Christian Camp in Ringgold, LA. Deposits will be $40 after February 26, so save yourself some money.

Fundraising Opportunity

The Calvary teens have started a monthly fundraiser with CiCi’s Pizza! Each month on the scheduled Sunday, CiCi’s Pizza will donate 10 % of the sales of Calvary Baptist members and teens back to the youth ministry. All you have to do is tell them you’re with Calvary Baptist! Our next opportunity will be today – Sunday, November 27!

Youth Conference – Theme: Always Faithful

One thing for certain is that we want teenagers faithful to God - Always Faithful! During the week of Oct 9-15 we are asking you specifically to pray for this conference. Come for a great weekend of spiritual growth and encouragement. Starting off this conference on Sunday evening, Oct. 9th, Taylor Gillaspie will be preaching. There will be in home prayer meetings on Thursday, Oct. 13. Locations will be announced later. The rally begins Saturday, October 15 at noon! There will be great preaching by Bryan Samms, Earl Sides, Will Cover, and Josh Longoria. Also, we will have fun activities, skits, and food! See the full schedule of events!

Quilt Sale

Quilt tickets are on sale. The prices for the tickets are $1 each, 25 for $20, 100 for $80, and 125 for $100. The drawing will be held Sunday, November 6th. All proceeds will benefit the student ministries of our church. Thank you in advance for your help!

The Rangers have won their second in a row American League West Championship! We will cheer on the Rangers by making Wednesday nights “Ranger’s Night” all during the month of October. Wear your favorite Ranger shirts, caps, etc to Awana’s. Let’s cheer the Rangers on to the World Series.
